Today feels like a good day to do a book tag that I wasn’t tagged in. I’m never tagged (but that’s ok), I just like to do these because they’re fun.
Today’s is the Disney song book tag that I found over on Book Loving Nut. I’m pretty excited for this one and would love to see your answers if you do this as well!
Disney song book tag questions
Here are the prompts if you want to do it, too! It’s a short one but it’s a good one.
- Part of Your World- What book world would you change yourself for so you could be a part of that world?
- Let It Go- What book did you not want to finish because you loved it so much?
- Beauty and the Beast- What book do you think is/will be timeless?
- So This is Love- What book were you hesitant to read at first but ended up loving?
- Friend Like Me- Which character would you like to be your best friend?
- Reflection- What book really made you think/changed the way you viewed things?
Part of Your World- What book world would you change yourself for so you could be a part of that world?
It feels like such a cliche answer (and I’m not trying to promote it here because J.K. Rowling is trash) but Harry Potter. I just love magic and the entire world in those books just sounds so amazing.
If I had to pick something else, though, I think I’d go with An Enchantment of Ravens. I loved that book and that Fae world seems more fun than the ACOTAR world.
Let It Go- What book did you not want to finish because you loved it so much?
It’s not a specific book, but the Legend series by Marie Lu. I devoured the first one after getting it in a mystery book box and immediately bought the second and third for my Kindle.
That’s how much I wanted to keep reading it. I would usually wait to get the physical books but I was too excited to read it and I just didn’t want to be done with them.
Beauty and the Beast- What book do you think is/will be timeless?
Elsewhere by Rosita Boland. This is a solo female travel memoir that is serious but also entertaining.
The stories included have taken place over decades which I think already makes it timeless. I loved this so much and it’s definitely one of my favorites now.
So This is Love- What book were you hesitant to read at first but ended up loving?
The Muse by Jessie Burton. This was another mystery book box read and I loved the cover but I just wasn’t that excited about it. It’s one of my favorites now though!
Friend Like Me- Which character would you like to be your best friend?
Probably Emily from Since You’ve Been Gone. I really liked her and her transformation. Maybe I just kind of see myself, or my younger self mostly, in her and that’s why I like her.
Oh, or Fable from Fable by Adrienne Young because she just sounds really cool in pretty much every way.
Reflection- What book really made you think/changed the way you viewed things?
When No One is Watching by Alyssa Cole. And kind of Lakewood by Megan Giddings, but more When No One is Watching.
They’re both on the same general topic, but I think When No One is Watching was done better (not that Lakewood is bad, but I think it was lacking a bit.)
It was just really eye opening to read this because so much of it is true and while the overall story is fiction, it’s pulled from reality.
It shouldn’t be surprising to me, but, howdy doody, it’s just not something I ever learned about. It is something I would definitely like to read more about though, if you have any suggestions.
Have you done the Disney song book tag? I’d love to see it!
